It was just after we arrived and she was disrespectful of what we said. The timeshare conversation became pushy and the woman would not stop. If you had a black wristband on, you were given all access and the best seats for dining. We did not know this property had a "caste system" with the different color wristbands telling the staff if you were high enough to get their service. Upon arrival and after check-in, the tour desk (which is really the timeshare-like membership sales staff) approached us. The breakfast buffet was good, not great, but Mario made the experience feel special! The mexican dinner was awful with a very limited menu. The only restaurant where you had to wait 15 minutes to be told there was a 30-minute wait.)įuego restaurant is excellent as is the Thai. (However the check-in process with the hostess was ridiculous.

In particular, the Italian restaurant with our server, Aron, was superb.

The food was above average, if not excellent, at some of the restaurants. The property itself is on a beach that is almost unwalkable throughout most of the day.
